From the creative minds behind We Are Origami, Russell Stafford Photography, and The Pepper June Wedding Co. comes Pepper June, Sydney's premier wedding studio.

In early 2023, founders Russell Stafford & David Duong light-heartedly joked about merging their companies. After a pause, the tone changed from joking, to contemplative..

"The thought had actually crossed my mind", admitted Russell.

And with that, the seeds were planted for a merger of three of Sydney's most sought after brands. With the unification, Pepper June is not only home to some of Sydney's best wedding photographers and videographers, but also industry leading wedding products and services.

The story of Pepper June began in 2015, when Russell & David met at an industry party. A close friendship formed over the ensuing years, with Shennen and Russell meeting shortly after in 2018 at, appropriately, a wedding in Sydney.

As time passed, David would continue to grow We Are Origami with his fine art modern classic photography, pioneering the style in Australia. His work has received both local and international recognition, and spawned a generation of photographers eager to emulate his soft, calming style.

At the same time, Russell's fun, personal, documentary style photography studio began to gain in popularity throughout Australia's Southeast. In 2020, Russell launched his sister brand, The Pepper June Film Co. (later to become The Pepper June Wedding Co.), joined by up and coming talented photographer and business manager Shennen at the helm.

With the name Pepper June now entering it's third form, the name evolution mirrors the growth evolution, from a videography company, to wedding company, to its final form - a luxury experience brand.
